Gezuar Vitin e Ri 2012

Happy New Year Everyone! We hope that you enjoyed the holiday season and wish you all the best in 2012.

In the middle of December, we travelled back to Calgary for Christmas and had such a great time visiting with family and friends. Dan was working over the holidays from the Stream Calgary office but he still got up to the hill for some skiing. A big highlight was hanging out with our nephew, Wyatt, who has grown so much over the past 10 months.  We treated ourselves to some international cuisine we had been craving such as sushi, thai, and Alberta beef. For New Year’s Eve, we had a nice evening at home playing games with Paige, Kevin, and his girlfriend, Candice.  Before we knew it a month had passed and on January 12th we flew back to Albania. It is cool here now but rumor has it we just escaped the cold snap back in Alberta. Brrrr.

We are unsure of what 2012 has in store for us but we look forward to sharing it with you!

In September 2010, Dan and I received working visas for the United Kingdom. We sold our condo, quit our jobs and packed our bags to move to London. This blog is designed to update our friends and family back home about where we are and what we are up to, as well as to share our adventure with others.
